North Sails
Questa settimana mi trovo a Firenze tra i blogger ufficiali che seguono Pitti Immagine Uomo. Sono giorni frenetici ed entusiasmanti, in cui ho la fortuna di scoprire, toccare con mano e anche indossare in anteprima le collezioni uomo per la prossima Spring Summer 2016.
L’outfit che vi mostro oggi è un total look North Sails. Brand da sempre sinonimo di eleganza sporty-chic, negli ultimi tempi si è rinnovato e ha deciso di lanciare, per la prossima P/E ’16, tre diverse linee: North Sails Black, North Sails Deep Blue e North Sails Ocean Blue, tutte ispirate dalla leggendaria passione per il profondo blu del mare, per la sua storia e le sue sfide che da sempre hanno affascinato l’uomo. A completare la collezione, poi, North Sails Icons, una selezione di capi senza tempo che non dovrebbero mai mancare in ogni guardaroba maschile che si rispetti.
Il look che mi vedete indossare nelle foto appartiene, per quanto riguarda la bellissima bomber jacket, alla linea più giovane, la North Sails Ocean Blue. Questo bomber mi ha subito colpito per il colore, un blu navy effetto washed, che sembra essere stato recuperato dall’oceano dopo l’alta marea. Il blu è colore simbolo del brand e trovo che questa sfumatura sia molto vivace e di grande effetto, se accostata alle tonalità neutre di camicie e pantaloni che solitamente indosso nella mia vita di tutti i giorni. Ho abbinato la giacca ad un’ampia tee-shirt di cotone bianco, dal taglio particolare che mi ricorda le camicie con collo alla coreana, e a un bermuda, stretto in vita dalla classica cintura in tessuto con logo del brand. Questi due capi invece appartengono alla collezione North Sails Icons, costituita da pezzi essenziali del guardaroba maschile, pratici e chic per la vita di tutti i giorni.

This week I am in Florence as on of the official bloggers at Pitti Immagine Uomo. I’m discovering, touching and even wearing a preview of the next Spring Summer 2016 Men’s collections.
The outfit that I show you today is a total look by North Sails. This brand has always been synonym of sporty-chic elegance, and it was recently renovated. For the upcoming S / S ’16 it will be launched three different lines: North Sails Black, North Sails Deep Blue and North Sails Ocean Blue, all inspired by the legendary passion for the deep blue sea, for its history and its challenges that have always fascinated men. To complete the collection there’s North Sails Icons, a selection of must-haves that every man should have in his closet.
The beautiful bomber jacket that you see me wearing in the pictures is from the youngest line, North Sails Ocean Blue. I immediately felt in love for the colour of this bomber, navy blue washed- effect, which seems to me to have been recovered from the ocean after a high tide. The blue color is a symbol of the brand, and I find that this nuance is very impressive, especially if matched with the neutral colors of shirts and pants that usually I wear in my life everyday. I paired the jacket with a wide tee-shirt and a shorts that accentuates the waist with the classic cotton belt with the logo of the brand printed on it. These two pieces belong both to the North Sails Icons, a collection made by essential pieces of a man’s wardrobe.
